Chinese Smartphone maker Xiaomi has achieved another big milestone in the third quarter of 2016. According to the internal reports, Chinese Smartphone maker, Xiaomi has achieved 2 million Smartphone sales in Q3 2016.
The way Xiaomi is moving ahead in India it seems like there’s no stopping it; the firm stepped here in India back in 2014 and since then it is working hard to shun off the “Chinese Smartphone” image in the country and it seems like they are pretty well making it happen too. According to the latest tweet by company head, Manu Jain, Xiaomi has successfully surpassed 2 million Smartphone sales in the third quarter of 2016. The tweet was released on the micro blogging website yesterday.
Having 2 million sales in the nation is also special for the firm because this is the first time they grabbed so much sales in the country in just one quarter. The firm also states that sales in Q3 2016 were 150 percent more than in Q3 2015.
The time’s not gone that we’ll forget that some time ago Online Shopping Giant, Flipkart announced it selling around 1 million units of Xiaomi Redmi 3S in less than 4 months of time period. The firm started with bringing flash sales here in India and making it a trend that now almost every firm follows. There’s no doubt that, flash sales and online presence helped the firm in gathering that much sales, but reports state that the firm is also trying to foray into offline store and the reason behind this is very much obvious – to boost the sales volume.
Pretty much like previous years even today some people doubt the authenticity of Xiaomi’s 46 billion dollar brand value but sales do talk and they’re talking well for Xiaomi.
