In regards to this Videocon took a step further before any manufacturer and announced to add ‘Panic Button Application’ across its entire Smartphone range, starting with the Cube 3 which is priced at Rs 8490/-.

Panic Button Application – In Depth Analysis

The panic button application would be named as “SOS-Be Safe” and will be an emergency response app which can be used by pressing the power button and the app will send an alert to the numbers added in the emergency list at the time of emergency.

As per the recent announcement there would be three features in the SoS app namely Walk With Me, Reach on Time and Alarm.

Final Words

Looking at the present scenario sadly these kind of apps are very necessary and thanks to DoT for making it mandatory for every mobile manufacturing firm to not only add the SoS applications but also to add a panic button for it that will come handy at the time of emergency.

Videocon is doing a great job by taking first step before any other firm and we appreciate it.

What do you think of this first step towards user safety by Videocon?
