Samsung is now alleged of not paying compensation to all those users who have faced collateral damage due to their Samsung Galaxy Note 7. Samsung is keeping on denying to pay the victims and is said to be rolling it words from start.

We have had it all from Samsung Galaxy Note 7, from a premium flagship device to a “burning legend” to a Halloween costume; we even saw a GTA 5 Mod giving the Note 7 the same in-game powers like the bomb has!

We all thought that now Note 7 fiasco will go under the covers and people will someday forget it for real but it doesn’t seems like that Samsung wants people to forget what Note 7 did to them at least for now it seems like this only.

Samsung is Refusing to Pay Compensation, says Note 7 Users

According to a report by The Guardian, a number of old customers who had suffered properital damage from their Galaxy Note 7 are not being provided compensation for the same from Samsung.

There’s a story from a person named John Barwick who owned a Galaxy Note 7 woke up in the middle of the night by the smell of something burning off his desk and for his bad luck it was his new Galaxy Note 7 device that burst out into flames on his nightstand. According to him the fire damaged his furniture, along with his bed, carpet, and curtains, resulting in a mass repair bill of around 9,000 dollars which is a big amount. But sadly according to him Samsung is not willing to pay the full amount for the same.

Ths snippet from The Guardian read as, “Barwick claims he called the company 45 minutes after the fire started and Samsung said they’d call back within 24 hours. When they failed to do so, Barwick called them again and emailed pictures of the damaged phones. “They said they’d call us back. They never did.”

Barwick finally them received a call from Samsung, and was referred to go to the insurance company of the firm named Samsung Fire & Marine.

“They told me they weren’t going to pay replacement costs of any damaged items. We were asking to have our carpet replaced, and to have the goods that were sprayed on replaced. We sent them photos,” he said. Instead, Samsung offer to pay a depreciated value of the items.”

If all this is real then Samsung is doing really wrong to all those affected as why the customer suffer when the fault is in your device?
