Reliance’s Spokesman spoke on the topic, “Jio takes its customers’ security and privacy very seriously. In keeping with its highest standards of governance, Jio does not share its customers’ data with any other entity. Any information captured by Jio is only for internal analysis to deliver better quality of service and recommend offerings from Jio’s product portfolio.”

While Anonymous themselves state that Jio services are safer to use but who knows what’s truth as we all know that some of the companies do sell our “personal” information to these third party app makers and ad agencies.

As we all know “everything” comes with a price and with everything I am tagging your “Free Preview Offer till 31st December 2016” of Reliance Jio 4G services. The offers seem lucrative and trust me it is but is it greater than your “privacy”?

Anonymous, the most active hacktivists group on the internet has come up with a statement that shook India to its roots, According to them, Reliance Jio has been reportedly sending user statistics and personal information to a USA and Singapore based ad network named Mad-Me.

These statistics are from two prominent applications of Reliance Jio, “MyJio” and “Jio Dialer” which are necessary to call and manage your Reliance Jio account and for these statistical reports they are bring paid a lot of money.

Although Reliance officials are constantly denying the fact that “no such data breach ever existed” but Anonymous’s detailed report on the breach makes Reliance’s statement hard to swallow. They in depth told about what and what not is being shared with the international servers.

This is not the first time Anonymous has “warned” the Indian Media about Reliance being selling out information to third party companies. Earlier Anonymous reportedly told about “Jio Chat” being sending non-encrypted data to the Chinese servers. This was highly prone to leakage as the data was non-encrypted and any hacker can easily snoop in those servers and get credible information that is not meant to be shared.

Also something suspicious was that even the coding of the Jio chat was found out in Chinese. However Reliance is backing off from any such claims.
