Tinder is dating application that follows the “hot” or “not” principle. People can discover new people to date with by just swiping pictures and liking or disliking those pictures. Tinder is also having its own “weird” definition of itself in Urban Dictionary.
Whether people look for partners on Tinder or not or look for them in person, Everybody wants their know the music taste of the person they are going to date as it tells 90% about the person’s character as well as hiss lifestyle according to a research. Putting forward this theory, Tinder partnered with Spotify to provide musical experience to Tinder users.
In the new application update people would now be seeing a button to integrate Spotify account in Tinder itself which will now not only show your “music taste” to others but you’ll also get a chance to look at others.
Also, people can specify in the application that which artist from their Spotify application would they want to get listen in their Tinder profile and which not, also people would now be able to play those music from Tinder itself whether they’ve logged in with Spotify or not.
Also now users would now be able to set up an anthem for their profile, It can be anything or any music related to their life’s experiences that defines what you really are from within.
You can change anthems anytime you want and also you can get that anthem’s music direct from Spotify, Here too there’s no need to log in specifically for this to Spotify.
The option to link to a Spotify profile is available in the account settings menu in the updated application. The New update allows users to swipe based on the preferences and music tastes of the profiles they come across, and incorporates music choice as a part of the Tinder experience.
The feature is still in the process of rolling out and will be available with the new update to all of the 59 countries where Spotify is currently available.
