Chinese Computing Giant, Lenovo has announced that they would be launching company’s latest Yoga Books in India on 13th December 2016. The Yoga Books that are going to launch in India were shown off during the IFA 2016.
The amazing part of these Yoga Books is that firstly they are going to be the thinnest “2 in 1” variants and secondly as the name goes “2 in 1” they actually will be having both Windows and Android platform variant on their display.
The Yoga Books from Lenovo will both come with a Halo keyboard which disappears when it is not needed and gets replaced by a black screen instead which can be used for drawing or as a display either ways.
The Android variant of the same is powered by an Intel Atom x5-Z8550 processor clocked at 2.40GHz running on Android Marshmallow 6.0.
Lenovo is also offering 4GB LPDDR3 RAM to support smooth working. There is 64GB onboard storage with microSD card slot supporting up to 128GB. The 2-in-1 comes with an 8500mAh lithium-ion battery with general usage time of up to 15 hours.
The Windows variant of the device is similar to the Android variant regarding specs but with one exception. While the Android version is available in Carbon Black, Gunmetal Grey and Champagne Gold, the Windows version, on the other hand would only be available in Carbon Black color. The device runs Windows 10 and Microsoft Office comes pre-installed on it.
Still, the company has not released any statement on the price tag but in The US, the Android version is available for $499.99 summing up at Rs 33,800, while the Windows version is available for $549.99 priced around Rs 37,200.
