With the new update of Google Photos, Apple iphone users would now be able to generate GIF versions of their Live Photos. According to a report Web Giant Google has recently released this update and is now available in the Apple App Store.
What Are Live Photos?
Live Photos is a pretty cool as well as amazing feature in Apple Iphone 6s and 6s Plus and can be found in newly launched Apple Iphone 7 as well. Live Photos are generally short clips containing audio as well as video and can be recorded by imply tapping on the circular icon on the camera setting.
How Are Live Photos Different From Being Called A Video?
Live Photos are totally different from videos as videos are recorded in mp4 format whereas these Live Photos are with audio as well as video but still there in JPEG format, technically still being an image! A Live Photo captures 1.5 seconds of video and audio both before and after you press the shutter button to take a photo with which you get a 3 second of life like experience in an image.
Google also introduced a new app to edit these Live Photos this year named as Motion Stills app. This app improves your Live Photos by helping you to do things like crop out the blurry frames, freeze the background, create cinematic pans and stabilize the images and much more.
Also with the upgraded version of Motion Stills app users will also be able to share these edited video clips to YouTube. With the new and updated Google Photos app for iOS, users can finally share their Live Photos to other messaging apps apart from Apple’s own iMessage platform.
