We at Intabloid.com present a handpicked list of “Top 5 Android Smartphones Launched In India” judged on the basis of various grounds. Read Now! This year we saw a lot of advancements in every possible field and the majority of the advancements were seen in the technology field. Our Smartphones that were first meant to only call are now an important segment of our day to day life.
While some of us still be using a Full HD resolution Television Screen at home, the same screen over their Smartphone has made its way through 2K and even 4K display at times. The camera quality is increasing day by day making a new jauner of Mobile Photography making its way out to defeat professional photographers. While we are moving further with all this we still have got to see a lot. Here I am providing you all the list of Top 5 Android Smartphones launched in 2016 so that you don’t have to anywhere else finding one.
Google Pixel XL
Google finally thought to kick start its own range of Smartphones years after successfully running the Nexus lineup and finally ending it. The Pixel is the new future towards pure stock Android experience by Google. This Smartphone is made purely by Google itself. Right from the operating system of the device to the design, everything is done by Google.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor in it makes sure you get the best out of the best experience from your device without losing much of battery juice. The display quality is at par and carries a resolution of around 2,000 pixels with a resolution standard of 2048×1080 (2K). The camera over this device easily beats like of Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and even the newly launched iPhone 7 Plus. The Pixel XL offers a screen size of 5.5 inches which could be bigger for some but don’t worry you can have the 5 inch variant of the same named as Google Pixel instead.
Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge
The Galaxy S7 Edge was the first flagship to be launched in 2016 and it still manages to be at the 2nd position even the year is going to end in a month. The S7 edge offers an updated specification sheet and is a refined version of the Galaxy S6 range launched in the same year. The Smartphones comes with MicroSD support up to 200GB to kill your tension about storage “a bit” I guess. The processor used on this device is Samsung’s homemade Exynos 8890 SoC which is a beast in its own way. The Smartphone also comes loaded with 4GB of RAM along with 32GB of internal storage.
The screen on this Smartphone is an AMOLED display whose size has been increased from 5.1 inches in Samsung Galaxy S7 to 5.5 inches in the Galaxy S7 Edge with the resolution point of 2560×1440 (2K).
Even the battery size has seen an increment from 2600 mAh to 3000 mAh. The device also features a new dual pixel 12 megapixel camera to complement your hunger for good photography even in low light situations.
The OnePlus 3 was a sure shot choice of mine to be included in the list of “Top 5 Android Smartphones Launched In India In 2016” not because of its sleek and elegant premium looking design but because of the specifications it packs in that sleek body if its. This Smartphone is an all-rounder offering the best performance-to-price ratio among the latest flagship Android phones in 2016. This is the first full metal Smartphone from the firm and much like its other flagships even this one catches everyone’s eyes. The processor powering the OnePlus 3 is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM to support heavy multitasking like a pro. The 16MP camera on the back of this beast is one of its kind offering PDAF as well as OIS and does not disappoint either.
The battery backup is quite low on this one that’s why it’s on third position rather than being on the second replacing the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. If the battery backup would have been good then I would surely have placed it on the second position.
With this Smartphone LG tried to step further towards the future, trying to live the shattered dream of Google seen for Project ARA that never made its way to the market. However, even the G5 was not much acclaimed on the modular side but the Smartphone still managed to be 4th on the list because of its intrusive design and amazing spec sheet for the price range.
The G5 features a full metal body coupled with a fingerprint sensor which is quite common nowadays. The Smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with 4GB on onboard RAM. The MicroSD support on the device is 200GB but the 32GB onboard storage does well to normal users. The screen size on the LG G5 is 5.3-inches with a resolution point of 2560×1440 (2K).
What’s interesting is the way the colors are balanced on the screen on this one. The G5 offers the most vibrant displays than any Android device gives in this price range making its score go a bit higher than its competitors. The battery is also a low point on this one but normal users can stretch it up to a day or a couple of hours more.
I won’t be talking much about the modular segment as it still needs to be worked upon but those who want to grab something new and RAW then LG G5 is meant for them.
Last but not the least, the HTC 10 is the one which could be on the 3rd position but its own drawbacks slid it down to 5th position but that doesn’t mean that you should not even look at it as this device is a king in its own segment. Trust me
The biggest flaw shedding this device’s position down is the old HTC design which is quite old to be digested in the present scenario. We had a lot of old Samsung designs and we can’t bear another “great” firm to follow the same footsteps. Coming over the processor, then the device comes loaded with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM to help you out with your daily usage.
Now what you already knew is how great HTC is in making out of the box camera modules for their devices and HTC 10 steps that level a little further. The OIS-assisted 12MP UltraPixel rear camera on this device a sure shot “up for photography” type of camera which you can rely on, not only this you also get OIS on the front shooter which is a 5 megapixel, still great to shoot with after all it comes with Optical Image Stabilization which is “first in the world” in front shooters.
The display comes with a resolution score of 2560×1440 (2K) which is as vivid as it was meant to be but the best part of this device is the sound quality which just blows you out off your mind when you gear on your headphones or head to listen it straight away from the speakers.
The Smartphone manages to please you both ways.
Here I end the list of “Top 5 Android Smartphones Launched In India” Hope you liked it and if you liked it then you must share it with your friends.
