British Automobile company Jaguar Land Rover on Tuesday this week tied up with global music streaming service Spotify to develop an application for enhancing the in car music experience for Jaguar Land Rover car owners.
This app at present is iOS exclusive only and doesn’t seems to be available for Android any soon, this application would be available on Apple Store from 27th of September 2016 and would be ready to download for every Jaguar Land Rover owner. The company on Tuesday also stated “Spotify for Jaguar Land Rover is the result of a year’s worth of collaborative development between the two companies,”
What We Can Do Using This Application?
Using this application car owners can browse “Just For You” playlists from their car only which will result in lesser distraction as well as would save time of the one driving the car.
While this app is basically online but you can also use it offline with the “Offline Mode” which plays all your downloaded content as per your demand, Hence somehow replacing your car’s official music player application.
This app will automatically show up on your car’s touch screen panel once you download the same in your Iphone and connect it with the car.
As we all know Spotify is a paid application but you don’t need any kind of subscription while using this application in your Jaguar Land Rover car via InControl App.
This application will come right after the launch of XF sedan’s successor which would come in 3 variants- called the standard-spec Pure, the mid-spec Prestige and top-spec Portfolio. This new sedan by Jaguar Land Rover would be coming with new features, trim levels and to even have its basic model you would have to shed near about 49.5 Lakhs of money. The top model named as Portfolio of the same car costs around 62.10 lakh for its basic model.
