Lenovo Jumps to 2nd Spot in Indian Smartphone Market

As per IDC’s report, Lenovo claimed it was ahead of Apple, Micromax and Oppo, while Samsung remained the leader in the worldwide smartphone market with the recent Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge flagship handsets.
Lenovo had procured Motorola in October 2014 from Google.With a development of 24.5 for every penny in the course of the most recent year, Lenovo bunch caught 7.7 % of piece of the overall industry by units sold while the business sector developed by just 3.7 %, as per the exploration company’s quarterly mobile phone tracker.

Navkendar Singh, Senior Research Manager at IDC India however, said that IDC does not endorse data based on value, while it has backed volume shipments market shares of Lenovo.

ET has reported a week ago that Samsung took the No 1 position in the online business sector. The organization expanded its offer of the online deals to 23.8% in the quarter finished June from 22.5% in the past quarter and 17.8% in the quarter finished December, as indicated by information from Counterpoint Research.

The company recently launched mid-range Smartphones including K5 PLUS, ZUK Z1, Moto G4 Plus, and Moto X Play, among others in India.
