Alongside Desire 10 Pro, and 10 Evo HTC has launched HTC Desire 650 at an event today in Taiwan. The Desire 650 is a lower mid-range smartphone available in two colors – white and dark blue and is priced at NT$5,490 or USD 172. HTC Desire 650 features  a 5-inch TFT LCD display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution and is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass. Under the hood, the device is powered by an Snapdragon Octa core processor (unknown, might be the Snapdragon 210 SoC ) clocked at 1.1GHz along with Adreno 304 GPU. HTC Desire 650 has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage which can be further expanded upto 2TB. There is a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture and front shooter 5MP selfie camera with f/2.8 aperture. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the latest HTC Sense UI laid on top.

Backed by a 2,200mAh battery HTC Desire 650 is rated to offer upto 17.5 hours of talk time and lasts upto 28.5 days on standby mode.Connectivity options are 4G LTE, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, NFC, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, A-GPS, and MicroUSB 2.0 support.It measures 146.9 x 70.9 x 8.4 mm and weighs 140 grams and sports front-facing Boomsound stereo speakers. The HTC Desire 650 is priced at NT$ 5,490 in Taiwan which is approx $172 / RS. 11,800. in Taiwan and will be available in stock in the next few weeks. This device will  go on sale in early December but unfortunately there is no information regarding the launch of HTC desire 650 in India. We will be updating once there is any update from HTC on India launch of this smartphone.
