Apple Inc. might release its next iteration to the iPhone series i.e. the iPhone 8 with inbuilt Wireless Charging feature, also the device is said to going to release in three variants. The latest iPhone is said to be releasing next year i.e. in the year 2017.
According to a latest report by a KGI Securities analyst named Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple might be releasing the iPhone 8 with inbuilt wireless charging feature. If this news is true then Apple might seem to be stepping into Android’s footsteps as years back this technology was introduced in Android Ecosystem which is now being “followed” by Apple “innovatively”.
The analyst is having a pretty good track record with his predictions as majority of his predictions came out to be true. According to him, just like the basic wireless charging feature works, even Apple iPhone 8 users would be able to charge their Smartphone by only placing it over a charging deck that will charge their device wirelessly.
Now it’s Apple’s decision to stick to standard Qi wireless charging technology or “innovate” one off its own for their new device, according to Apple’s track record I guess they’ll generate something of their own for wireless chargeability.
I’m saying that so confidently because recently Bloomberg reported that Apple might be working on making “long-range” charging technology for its future iPhone range.
According to Ming-Chi Kuo, the latest iPhone would charge the same way as the Apple Watch does. To achieve this, Apple would need to shift to a glass panel rather than a metal one but it could also be possible that the company might issue it an add-on accessory just like the extra battery case it released for iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.
The news about the three variants of the same seems 90% legit stating that 1st model would be a 4.7 inches iphone, while the other one would be a 5.5 inch one and the third one would be a 5 inch model that would bridge the gap between the other two variants.
