Alcatel Pop Mirage smartphone has been launched by the company extending the Pop series lineup. It runs on Cyanogen 13.1 OS based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Alcatel Pop Mirage has a a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with the Oleophobic coating. It has a 71.7% screen-to-body-ratio and pixel density of 267 ppi.Hardware specifications include a Quad-core MSM8909 processor with clocked at 1.3GHz. The phone has Adreno 304 GPU and offers 1.5GB of RAM. This device comes with 16GB of on-board memory, which can be extended further upto 32GB via a microSD card.
This smartphone sports a 8MP rear camera with LED flash and has features like, Geotagging, HDR, Autofocus, and panorama. There’s also a 5MP camera front shooter for video calling and selfies, with flash. Alcatel Pop Mirage is a 4G LTE device and other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, GPS, A-GPS and Micro USB 2.0. Pop Mirage is backed by a Li-Ion 2500 mAh battery and has dual-SIM support that comes with dual standby. As per Alcatel the pop mirage battery offers 3G talktime of upto 15 Hrs.
It measure 151 mm x 77 mm x 7.99 mm and weights 156 grams. Notably, the Alcatel Pop Mirage is IP68 certified for dust proof and water resistant over 1 meter and 30 minutes. The Pop Mirage is a budget device and will compete against the likes of Xiaomi Note 3, Lenovo Vibe K5, Honor 4X etc. Device Sensors include Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient Light, Hall Effect. This device may be priced around Rs. 10,500. However, Alcatel Pop Mirage official price and online/offline availability are not yet known.
