Emporio Armani has been reportedly releasing company’s first connected watch in collaboration with Fossil, again a well known watch brand. The specialty of this watch is its battery life that is said to be around 6 months which is made possible by the simple quartz battery it uses.
Emporio Armani is a well-known brand for ready-to-wear, haute couture, shoes, watches, jewelry, leather goods, accessories, eyewear, home interiors and cosmetics. Having an Armani is a looked upon as a status symbol as it costs a lot more than many brands out there. The biggest selling section of the Giorgio Armani S.P.A is the Emporio Armani segment and this segment is famous mainly for its watch section. To update its watch section Armani thought to go with the flow and sensed the need of “Connected Watches” in their range too and released the same in collaboration with Fossil which again is a multinational large selling brand of watches.
The watch is named as the “EA Connected Watch” EA obviously indicates the brand name Emporio Armani. The watch comes with an analog display, but it is designed in a way to syncs with phones through Bluetooth and a companion iOS / Android app is also provided to monitor activities like sleep tracking, notifications, activity tracking, and music control. This all can be done on your watch too.
What makes it different from other watches is that this watch also includes another time zone that was added through user poll and I guess why Armani’s customers are so simple to demand only a second-time zone?
The main highlight of this watch is the 6 months battery life it carries with it. The watch stays without any charge for 6 months intact as per the company claims. Thanks to the basic quartz batteries in it that makes this thing possible.
The watch is available in rose gold, black, gunmetal, and stainless steel with either a three-piece link or leather strap. The watch can be either ordered from Armani’s official website or can be bought hand to hand in Emporio Armani boutiques around the world today, with prices starting at $250 for the basic model.
