In new Macbook Pro 2016 you won’t be finding the old Apple startup chime that was embedded to tell the user that the computer had passed its initial diagnostic tests and would now be continuing with the boot sequence. The startup chime was first introduced in Macintosh Quadra line of computers by Apple in 1991 but has now been taken aback by the firm.
If you are one of those who just hated listening to the F chord startup chime in your Apple computer then rejoice, finally Apple has decided to let go off the iconic startup chime that was coming with their computers since the firm even launched the computers.
The startup chime about which I’m here talking about was introduced so as to let the user know that the computer had passed its initial diagnostic tests and would now be continuing with the boot sequence, this helped the user in knowing that his/her computer is perfectly fine and there is no need to worry about but now when it won’t be no more present to notify the user about his/her computer’s condition then it would be little bit problematic for him/her to know about his computer’s health even before it boots up.
With the new Macbook Pro there is no problem about the chime and all, the computer is designed in a way that it firstly boots up without any sound and secondly even if its switched off then too if you’ll open its screen. It will open up instantly.
So, Cheers to Apple for letting go of irritating startup chime and wish for it to never break the silent startup ritual again.
