Serena Williams on the way to grab her 23rd Grand Slam:
Serena Williams, the now World no 1 in Tennis Women is all pain-free to embark her journey on winning the US Open. If she wins this tournament, she’ll add the 23rd Grand Slam to her bag. The American star who have been playing the game for a few years now is also simultaneously chasing the seventh title in New York. Before these two, she was suffering from a drastic shoulder injury which made her lose at the Olympics earlier and which also forced her to withdraw from the Cincinnati tournament that happened the last week.

Patrick Mouratoglou, her coach revealed to ESPN on Sunday. Serena Williams suffered a huge semi-final loss in the last year US Open at the hands of Roberta Vinci, an Italian Tennis Player. This year, she had a tough start facing the Russian player, Ekaterina Makarova (36th International Player). However, with her now being pain-free, I guess we can expect her to win this Grand Slam and prove us again why the William sisters are the best in this world and why their dedication is inspirational. All the luck Serena Williams!
