On Monday Night Raw, Former WCW and WWE world heavyweight champion Goldberg came back to answer Brock Lesnar’s challenge to a match at Survivor Series one month from now.
As Goldberg’s well known music started to fill the Pepsi Center in Denver, fans continue to repeat his name until the wrestling legend showed up on the extra large screen. Making his trademark stroll to the ring, different WWE Superstars of the present time lined the walkway and extolled the 49-year-old as he passed, and he got a gigantic gathering upon his entry through the smoke and fireworks that welcomed him.
Goldberg’s arrival is nothing unexpected given that he is one of the new characters on WWE2K17, the new game that was launched a week ago, however enthusiasm for his comeback ramped up a week ago when Paul Heyman challenged Goldberg to a battle on behalf of his client, Brock Lesnar.

“12 years ladies and gentlemen,” Goldberg said. “You never say never, eh? I never thought I’d be in this ring again, so thank you for the humble return. What makes it so special is that my wife and my son are here to see me live for the first time ever.”
“As I said, it’s been 12 years, there is a lot of things that I miss in this business. The biggest thing that I miss – other than kicking ass – is being a superhero for the kids all around the world. In this day and age, there ain’t enough of us, so going around the world, promoting the video game gave me that opportunity. I could go to Germany, I could go to Toronto and I could go up to the kids and I could shake their hands and I could see it in their eyes that I was Goldberg. It gave me the opportunity to be that superhero again but unfortunately somewhere along the way I created a little drama back here at WWE.”
“What that did was it made me think, and I thought long and hard, and I think that maybe it’s better left alone. Maybe I keep it in the video game.”
“But then, Brock Lesnar challenged me to a fight, but he didn’t have the balls to do it himself! He made Paul Heyman, his fat little stooge do it for him. And I thought to myself ‘maybe I have one more ass-kicking left in me’. I thought to myself ‘maybe I have one badass Spear left in me’ and I thought to myself ‘maybe I have one last devastating Jackhammer left in me’.”
“Brock Lesnar, not only does that mean that you’re next, but most importantly it means Brock Lesnar, you’re last.”
Now all WWE Fans are waiting for the match when these two meet against each other.
