US Government is said to be involved in penetrating Russian Government’s key module systems in case anything goes wrong related to the Coming US Elections being held in the country. The country is said to be targeting Russia only, because previously the news of Russian Hackers hacking US Government’s Democratic National Committee’s important systems came out that shook the country.US Government says to have Penetrated Russian Systems as a Security Measure

According to a report, it is being stated that the US government has penetrated Russian Government’s key technological systems as a security measure if Russian Hackers try to hack US Elections this year. This measure was taken after as news broke out stating US Government’s Democratic National Committee’s important systems were hacked by the country after which another news came out stating CIA planning to launch cyber attacks again Russia but afterwards that all went cold but now again a news has come that this time if anything goes wrong, US Government would also not be holding back and would seize fire over the important systems already penetrated by the latter.

Russia's telecommunications networks, electrical power grid, and command systems at the Kremlin are penetrated
Russia’s telecommunications networks, electrical power grid, and command systems at the Kremlin are penetrated

The systems that have been penetrated are Russia’s telecommunications networks, its electrical power grid, and their command systems at the Kremlin. All of these systems are like Russia’s backbone in their field and penetrating these means a lot of expertise has been inputted.

Anyways the way US Elections are being held it would only be more of difficult for hackers to hack the system and change the final result as this time the elections are going the old fashioned way. With outdated voting machines and voter data, the decentralized nature of the election itself makes it difficult to be “penetrated”.

According to NBC, they still believe that we should not lose hope of getting some “cyber mischief” from the other end, we should be ready for getting some releases of fake documents and digital misinformation campaigns.
