In the month of August the car maker lost its fourth position to Hyundai Grand i10 pushing Swift to the fifth position.

The car maker sold 23017 units of Alto around the same time a year ago. As indicated by the specialists, the essential purpose for the spurt in sales of Alto is the enhanced market slant, happy and festive season offers, and low-financing cost.
With 18961 units sold, Dzire is at the second position. The compact sedan from Maruti has possessed the capacity to keep up the business momentum. A year ago around the same time the carmaker sold 19682 units of Dzire at the same spot.
While the hatchback Swift sold 16746 units in the month of September and is at the third position. The smaller hatchback has been confronting in-house rivalry with Baleno due value covering.
Rakesh Srivastava, Sr Vice President Sales and Marketing, Hyundai Motor India said, “Hyundai with a domestic volume of 42,605 units in September 2016 registered highest ever sales of 370,448 units for the CY (Jan-Sep 2016) with a sustained growth of 7.9% with a strong portfolio of Modern Premium products led by Creta, Elite i20, and Grand.”
