From now on you would see lesser payment no done issues or anything relatively annoying fact that comes in your mind when it comes to booking railway tickets online. According to a report The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation has signed a deal with Paytm India, In this deal it is clearly mentioned that IRCTC will integrate Paytm’s payment gateway in their official railway booking application.
Paytm’s Sr. Vice President – Kiran Vasireddy stated “At Paytm, we are on a mission is to make payments extremely simple. Our deeper integration with IRCTC platform will not only provide greater convenience to its users but would also increase the success rates of such transactions.”
The company stated that it is looking forward for making digital ticket booking very much easier and feasible for travelers through the method of this tie up between IRCTC and Paytm.
This is not first time that a private firm has been approached by IRCTC. IT was also reported that Mobikwik will also be providing a payment gateway but for the payments done on the app.
IRCTC Connect is a newly launched application to provide easier and hassle free payment solutions to customers.The app has been downloaded millions of times on Google play and carries a rating of 4 stars given by 2.26 Lakh + people. Last month another announcement was made about another collaboration but this time for food payments which would allow users to make e-cash hassle free payments on foodings booked on Track app.
If you don’t like having food by IRCTC then you don’t need to worry as this application allows passengers to book food from restaurants, and have it delivered to their coaches faster. The food can be ordered at over 300 stations, from prominent food chains like Dominos, KFC, and more.
