In other words, it will act as a third eye to the police department.

Gurgaon Traffic Police to get body cameras this year

These cameras are said to be imported from  United Kingdom and with the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) support from Honda all of this is near to happen soon.

These video cameras would come integrated with powerful and easy to use evidence management software, which will multiply the powers of every Traffic policeman so as that road safety boosts up.

The cameras will not only help reducing road accidents but will also force the citizens to comply with the traffic regulations.

It will make it easy for the police in documenting evidence in case of any road accident and it will also make the traffic police accountable for any mishap if happens which was previously easy to transfer to one other, but now with this new technology implementation even traffic police can’t escape their accountability which is good.

It also helps the traffic policeman review the recording on the spot and show the traffic violation to the citizen. Weighing less than 150 gram, the cameras allow Full HD (1080p) video recording of up to 10 hours. They are easy to wear and can be clipped on to the uniform.”
