The “Kevin” named rumored ChromeBook has been now “said to” be named as “The Samsung ChromeBook Pro” and it is going to be launched By Samsung as per ChromeUnboxed. The ChromeBook would be coming with a Touchscreen and a pen stylus for touch inputs.
Technology website, ChromeUnboxed has finally unveiled an old rumored ChromeBook that was said to be codenamed as “Kevin”. According to ChromeUnboxed “Kevin” would be coming from Samsung’s hood and would be named as “The Samsung ChromeBook Pro”. The website uncovered this ChromeBook from a list of yet-to-be-released devices from various retailers.
When talking to the website about from where it got hands over the listing then it told that a user told them about a similar kind of listing on B&H but that comment was soon taken down.
According to the website the new ChromeBook coming from Samsung would be coming with some cool and impressive features that include a 12.3 inch 2400×1600 (2K) resolution touch screen display that you can easily rotate around 360 degrees. The device would have minimal bezels and would be coming with 32GB of onboard storage a 4GB DDR3/DDR4 RAM, a pen stylus for giving touch inputs and to house all this there would be an all metal body frame that would be 12.9 mm thick which can easily handle bumps too.
Talking about the battery time, then it would be around 10 hours on light usage which is again not too bad. And the design of the device is said to be made taking Android working environment in mind. Although there’s no official release date listed even on Adorama, but ChromeUnboxed reported that on the deleted B&H page that was later deleted the official release date that was listed was October 24th this year.
