Big Budget movie Padmavati is again encircled with one more challenging situation. Ever since Sanjay Leela Bhansali has revealed about his upcoming project, it’s always has been facing challenges one after another.
After the initial protesting and overreact by many religious organizations over the content of the film Padmavati, reports are revealing that Sanjay Leela Bhansali has lost one of his producer in Eros Entertainment.
Sources reported that, due to high investment in the epic movie of historical queen, starer Deepika Padukone, Eros Internation Media Limited has stepped out because the movie is a high-cost investment which includes the lead stars pay. This is the historical epic story of Queen of Mewar and movie is roped to be released in the year 2017, December, 15. Some latest news are even rumouring about the film release date has been postponed in the year 2018 because all the actors in lead of the movie are somehow busy in other shoots and this particular project is even a high gross investment so need time.
This high investment project of Bollywood, Padmavati is featuring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Shahid Kapoor in versatility portraying of epic roles. Although the film is swooping and whooping with controversial updates even still in shoots.
Speaking about this an insider told a leading daily that it is doubtful if any production house would shed that amount of money. “Not for a costume drama, especially after the debacle of Mohenjo Daro,” said the insider.
Says a source, ” Sanjay Leela Bhansali eats, sleeps and breathes his movies. He is completely absorbed in ‘Padmavati’ and is giving it his all. Before the film goes on floors, his time is already choc-a-bloc with music recordings, researching with historians, working on details of the costumes. He is putting in almost 18 hours of his day into ‘Padmavati’.
The artistic composition by Sanjay Leela Bhansali is struggling within the budget of Rs 170 crore. However, the news of Viacom18 now partnering with Reliance Jio to produce the film, won’t be much of a milestone, because Viacom18 is a 50/50 joint venture between Viacom and the Network18 group, which is owned by Reliance Industries which owns Reliance Jio as well.
