When most of the celebrities are expressing their views in the defense of Pakistani actors and artists and are against the banning resolution from MNS (Maharashtra Navnirman Sena) and IMPPA (Indian Motion Picture Producers Association) to leave India immediately and banned to work in the Indian entertainment industry. Then a voice raised in the favor of the banning resolution by versatile actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
In a press conference held on Monday evening in Meerut’s Bravura Hotel Nawazuddin Siddiqui said, “Right now, the situation between India and Pakistan is very sensitive and they (Pakistani actors) should leave India,”
Salman Khan, who acted along with Siddiqui in Bajrangi Bhaijan had recently said that they (Pakistani film stars working in India) were “artists and not terrorists”, evoking sharp reactions from various quarters.
By the opposite expressive comment, when Nawazuddin Siddiqui was asked, he is not in favor of Pakistani actors to work in Bollywood like other support them is he against them too, he said, “It is not about with which group of actors I belong to. It is a matter of our country. Aur Desh Se Badhkar Kuch Nahi hai. (There is nothing superior to our country).”
In fact, yesterday, BJP MP Yogi Adityanath had said replying to a query on the latest controversy surrounding the Bollywood actor in Gorakhpur, “Our fight is not against art and culture, it is against terrorism.”
