The versatile actor is Manoj Bajpayee and film director Ram Gopal Varma are again together for a new project, Sarkar 3. They both rebound together after a long span of 14 years. Meanwhile, Big B, Amitabh Bachchan‘s roles also finalized for the film but still not yet disclosed.
A source close to Bajpayee was quoted as saying that the actor owns his career to the director and when he offered him the movie, he could not deny the role.
“Manoj owes his career to Varma for giving him his big break in Satya. So, when the filmmaker called him up to offer Sarkar 3, he could not say no to him.” sources revealed.
Manoj Bajpayee and Ram Gopal Varma were first together signed for Satya in the year 1998, in which the actor enshrined the role of Maharashtrian don Bhiku. Then further both fame names collaborate for Shool, and Kaun (both 1999).
As more if we talk about teaming up with Big B, Bajpayee worked with him in Aks (2001), Aarakshan (2011) and Satyagraha (2013).
Some bitter memories of Ram Gopal Varma and Manoj Bajpayee in the early 2000s departed both their ways and chooses not to work with each other, Rajat Mukherjee’s Road (2002) being their last outing together, where Varma was the producer.
Over the past few weeks, names of actors including Jackie Shroff, Arjun Rampal, Suniel Shetty and Randeep Hooda had been tossed around for other roles in Sarkar 3. The first installment starred Bachchan and son, Abhishek. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan joined the duo for part Deux.
Sarkar 3 will not feature Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan but will rope Jackie Shroff as Villian in the film and the first look of the movie will be launched on August 26, 2017.
