Queen of Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut is back with a new controversial news. She previously came up in headlines with Hrithik Roshan, but was recently interviewed where she said, there was a lot of pressure on her, she even didn’t mention the name of the actor but still expressed all the sob story.
She said, she is strong enough to hold and handle whatever comes right away in her path, as there was a lot of, “feminist pressure” on her to fight for. “The incident I faced recently is very different from what I faced in the past. This time, there were no legal proceedings against me. There was a lot of media drama, threats, lot of slut shaming but there was no case filed against me. There was no question of fighting it legally,” Kangana Ranaut said during an event.
“There was a sudden feminist pressure on me to fight. And talk about the sob story I had. But I didn’t have that,” said Kangana Ranaut, adding that she was in a “consensual equation with an individual”.
The “Queen of Bollywood” said she is not someone who will fight for an individual’s acceptance or beg for his acknowledgment publicly. She would rather move on. “If not allowing a man to use the prerogative of ‘no’ and just making it a prerogative of the woman is feminism then I am not a feminist. A no means no.
Added further, “Is it fighting for an individual’s acceptance? Or begging for his acknowledgment publicly? Then I’m not a feminist. Is it feminism that we as the woman, it’s essential for us to save the memories of our love affairs. Whether it is sperm panties or a gift bag that is given to us by a lover for potential evidence for the future when he is trying to escape or say no.”
“If somebody wants nothing to do with me and feels ashamed of me or wants to get rid of me, then the only thing I am going to do to that individual is to say goodbye. Because I feel in the realm of love only one language should be used, the language of poetry.”
Kangana Ranaut said, that she has her own way to handle heartbreak which is reading flawless poetry.
