“Our feet on carpets, their boots on gravel.
Our days our stead, their new challenges unravel.
Our nights blissful, theirs stressful.
It’s our life to live because it’s theirs to give.
The heroes should not remain unsung because we can’t imagine their plight.
Our country grows stronger and bolder because theirs is the fight.
The fight of a soldier.”
Despite Shah Rukh Khan, other Bollywood celebrities like Akshay Kumar. Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Suniel Shetty have recited the beautiful poem to Indian army and Soldiers and also supported government’s initiative after the launch of the new website and application by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to wish Indian Soldiers Happy Diwali.
