A few days back, we witnessed the trailer release of Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam starrer ‘Kaabil’. This movie have been directed by Sanjay Gupta and produced by Rakesh Roshan. This flick is said to be a soothing blend of three different genres and those being action, thriller and romantic. When the trailer released, it generated the required buzz. The audiences not only appreciated the not-so-bollywood storyline and also the direction of the action sequences.
Trouble for Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil ?
According to sources, the movie has landed into trouble after the production giant and the American entertainment streaming company, Netflix claimed the movie to be plagiarized by one of Netflix’s own original production, Daredevil. Daredevil was based on the Marvel Comics character named Daredevil and has been directed by Drew Goddard.
It has been further revealed that there have been certain similarities between this Netflix series and this Hrithik Roshan starrer. It is being said that both have a blind protagonist and even the action sequences as well as the color sequences are quite similar. Now the Netflix is upset over Rakesh Roshan’s Filmkraft productions and Sanjay Gupta’s White Feature Films.
Rohit Roy and Ronit Roy will also be seen together in ‘Kaabil’. Kaabil was recently in news for release date clashing with ‘Raees’ which is an upcoming mega project of Shah Rukh Khan. Both the movies will be hitting the silver screen on January 25 and the trade analysts are expecting both the movies to do exceptionally well at the box office.
When Sanjay Gupta was asked to comment on Netflix’s allegations, he said that Hrithik is not a superhero in the film and the character does what he is best at. In Daredevil, the protagonist fights 30 people at a time. Sanjay also said that nothing as such is happening in Kaabil so if Netflix sues them, they’ll definitely fight back.
