The Karan Johar & Ajay Devgn Cold war ensued again: Recently the news of the movie with Akshay Kumar in lead being produced by Karan Johar and Salman Khan jointly had been announced on the social media and since that day, the audiences went berserk as they are excited to see the magic that will be brought forwards by these three superstars. Akshay Kumar had not worked with Karan Johar since Dil Toh Pagal Hai and they both are coming together after a really long time.
The story of the movie is said to be based on the battle of ‘Saragarhi’ and Akshay Kumar will be seen playing the role of Havildaar Ishar Singh. This movie will be directed by the infamous Punjabi movies director, Anurag Singh. Anurag Singh is particularly known for his movie ‘Jatt and Juliet’ starring Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa.
Now the question is what has this got to do with the Karan Johar & Ajay Devgn cold war??
As you all know, Karan Johar and Ajay Devgn have had a box office clash recently when Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shivaay’ was released. Both of them have been said to be at loggerheads since that time and the another factor that fuelled the fire was that Karan Johar’s movie did a better business at the box office as compared to ‘Shivaay’. However, we thought the past would have been forgotten and they must have moved on. But it doesn’t seem so.
The thing is that Ajay Devgn is also making a movie based on the same issue – battle of Saragarhi. This news was brought to the attention of the audiences last year when Ajay Devgn hinted about his venture on his Twitter account that a movie will be made based on the battle which will be the sequel to his hit flick, Son of Sardaar. It is also being said that the movie will see Randeep Hooda in a major role. Reportedly, the movie is in the pre-production phase and stuck because of budget concerns.
Now if the news of Karan Johar’s film being based on the battle of Saragarhi is true, then it will lead to another conflict in the B-town.
