Actor cum singer, a young face to followed by millions of fans Ayushmaan Khurrana expressed his view about music and life and how music is connected to him, as for him he says, he is incomplete with music, which is the main ingredient on Indian Film Industry.

Ayushmann Khurrana told in the official music launch of Ik Vaari that, “Music is the essence of the film industry. When I was in school between dance and music, I chose music. In college between music and theater, I chose theater. For me acting and singing are parallel vectors”.

“It would be right to say that I am a mixture of both actor and singer. My life is incomplete without music,” he said. Ayushmann vocal a single track by his versatile voice, “Ik Vaari” which is directed by Pradeep Sarkar and produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series.

The song is no far available on the commercial basis and a mashup of few lines with original song, “Aashiqui” song. Although Ayushmann Khurrana said it’s his first time that he had worked on rehash and remix of a song. The ‘Aashiqui’ part adds more to the zing,” Ayushmann added.

Talking to a daily, he said, “If not a singer or actor… I have a postgraduate degree in print journalism from Panjab University, so I guess I would have been a journalist. I am subtle, simple yet quirky.”

Ayushmann feels privileged to be directed by Sarkar. “I love Bengali people, I like Kolkata. It seems I have a special connection with Bengali culture,” he added. Towards the end of the song, the famous “Aashiqui” pose is recreated by the “Vicky Donor” actor and model Ayesha Sharma romancing under a jacket.

“I was not intimidated doing the ‘Aashiqui pose. I am delighted to be working with Ayushmann and directed by Pradeep Sarkar,” Ayesha said.
