One of the well known young actress Amrita Puri is back with a new update in her career, her new show under the title “Prisoners of War”, which is an Indian adaptation of a popular Hollywood show, based on the political-thriller plot.
The young starer face of Bollywood in “Kai Po Che” a movie based on the novel by “Chetan Bhagat” “The 3 Mistakes of My Life” as “Vidya Bhatt” and in “Aisha” as “Shefali Thakur”, Amrita Puri is now trying something new in her career, which will definitely polish her skills in acting.
This upcoming series will be directed by Bollywood’s famous name “Nikhil Advani”, in fact, “Homeland” is itself based on original Israeli series, “Hatufim”. Although the Indian version named as, “Prisoners of War” will going to have a plot about “Kargil War” and apart from Amrita Puri will cast other multitalented actors, “Satyadeep Mishra, Sandhya Mridul, Purab Kohli”.
Moreover, this official update was revealed by the director “Nikhil Advani”, that this show is expected to be air this November 2016 on Star Plus, as he is casting “Prisoners of War” with India’s one of the top network, “Star Network”.
“Prisoners of War” is apparently being made on a huge budget and Nikhil had earlier told Press Trust of India: “It’s not specifically a remake of Homeland, but the Israeli series “Hatufim” on which Homeland is based. So yes, I am doing the show for Star (network) and they will do an announcement soon. But I can’t reveal other details.”
Other popular names for the show are quite polished actors in daily soaps, “Sakshi Tanwar” from “Bade Aache Lagte Hain”, “Anita Hassanandani” from, “Ye Hai Mohabbatein”, “Ankita Lokhande” fame holder from the prime popular show. “Pavitra Rishta” on Zee Tv, with the addition of more versatile actors from Bollywood, “Reena Roy, Yuvraj Thakur”.
