Maharashtra Board Announces SSC HSC DatesheetThe Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) conducts the 10th and 12th standard board exams every year in the month of February. The date sheet for the same is declared every year in the month of June of the previous year which allows the students to be mentally prepared for their course and allows enough revision time. This year the board has declared the tentative dates for the start and completion of the exam.

The tentative date of the beginning of the Maharashtra Board 12th Standard exam is 28 March 2017 and the exams are expected to be finished by 25th March 2017. The exams of the 10th standard will begin on 7th March 2017 and end on 29th March 2017. The dates have been announced but the exact dates and timetable for the same have not been yet announced. Whereas some mischief makers have started circulating fake date sheets on the internet and this has created a scene of ruckus leading the students to panic.

Speaking on the delay in the announcement of the date sheet the Chairman of MSBSHSE Mr. Gangadhar Mhamane said “Keeping next year’s election dates in mind, we have decided the SSC and HSC board examination dates and made the announcement. This time, unlike every year, General Knowledge (GK) graded subject board exam paper will not be of pen and paper for HSC students, but the board has decided to conduct it in the online pattern.”

Owing to the upcoming elections the date has not yet been finalized. The dates if clash will create a serious issue as the schools are used as the polling booths in India and so as to avoid the clash with the dates of elections the date sheet has not yet been announced. The date sheet whenever announced will also be updated by the school authorities and the same will be available on the website of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE).
