The recruitment exam dates have been announced by the DMRC. The exam of which is to held in November and December. There was total of approx. 3428 vacancies for different kinds of posts. Following are the different posts for which exam is being taken: Customer Relations assistant; Junior Engineer; Station controller/ Train Operator (Electronics, Electrical,civil, Mechanical), Assistant Manager (S&T, Electrical, Finance, Operations, HR); Account Maintain and Assistant (Fitter, Electrician, Ref & AC Mechanic, Electronic Mechanic). The recruitment was filled through online application from the 16th September to 15th October.
The exam dates were announced for only Station controller/ Train Operator, assistant manager, and Maintainer posts and for rest of the posts the exam dates will be announced soon. For respective posts the schedule is as follows:
1. Assistant Manager (S&T, Civil, Electrical) – 27 November
2. Train Operator/Station controller- December 4th
3. Maintainer (Fitter, Ref & AC Mechanic), assistant manager ( Finance, HR, Operator) – December 18

DMRC admit card will be made available 15 days before the exam to the respective candidates at www.delhimetrorail.com, the official website. The admit cards for the posts of assistant manager exam will be provided to applicants on 12th November and for the other two exams, the admit cards will be released on 19th November & 3rd December.
Exam pattern for DMRC exam:
The Assistant manager and train operator/ station controller exam would consist of two papers. The first paper will be having 120 questions and 2nd paper will be having 60 questions. 90 minutes will be provided to the applicants for the paper 1 and 45 minutes for 2nd paper. The paper 2 which is general English will be same for both posts and questions will different for the 1st paper.
90 minutes duration will be provided for the maintainer post. The question paper will include 120 objective type question and for that, 75 questions are from the technical/ professional part, general awareness will include 20 questions, 5 for numerical ability,10 ques for reasoning and logical ability and similarly 10 questions for general English.
