Poco M7 5G Launched in India With 8GB RAM & 50MP Camera: Know Price & Specs
The Poco M7 5G was launched in India on Monday, offering a range of impressive features at an affordable price. This Poco new phone is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC and features an IP52-rated build for dust and splash resistance. The device packs a large 5,160mAh battery and boasts a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup, along with an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. It’s also claimed to have the segment’s largest display, with triple TÜV Rheinland certifications for safety. The Poco M7 5G joins the Poco 5G phone lineup, alongside the Poco M7 Pro 5G, which was unveiled in India in December 2024.
Poco M7 5G Price in India and Availability
The Poco M7 5G will be available in India starting from Rs. 9,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant, while the 8GB model is priced at Rs. 10,999. These launch prices are available only for the first day of sale, March 7, starting at 12 pm on Flipkart. The phone comes in three color options: Mint Green, Ocean Blue, and Satin Black.

The Poco M7 5G features a 6.88-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate, offering up to 600 nits of peak brightness. It also carries TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light, Flicker-Free, and Circadian certifications. The phone runs on the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It ships with Android 14-based HyperOS.
In terms of optics, the Poco 5G phone comes with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX852 primary sensor and an additional unspecified secondary sensor. The 8-megapixel front camera supports selfies and video calls, while both the front and rear cameras support 1080p video recording at 30fps.
Powering the Poco M7 5G is a 5,160mAh battery with 18W wired charging support, and it comes with a 33W charger in the box. Connectivity options include 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. For added security, the phone is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. With an IP52 rating for dust and splash resistance, it measures 171.88×77.8×8.22mm and weighs 205.39g.
